How to Make a Reservation

  1. Give us a call (970.406.1397) and we can answer any questions you have.
  2. Decide if you want a morning ATV rental 8:00-12:00 or an afternoon ATV rental 11:45am-3:45pm.
  3. Decide the number of ATV's you need to reserve.
  4. A credit card is required to hold your ATV reservation.
  5. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. Once you are inside this window the reservation is 100% non-refundable.

What you need for the day of your ride:

  1. Come dressed prepared to ride. We suggest long pants. Your legs straddle the engine which can get hot, and some trails are narrow which can cause some rubbing against branches or tree limbs.
  2. Also you will want to wear tennis shoes or hiking boots - no flip flops or sandals.
  3. You may want to bring a pair of gloves and an extra jacket. You will be riding at 10,000 feet and higher, the air is cool.
  4. If it looks like rain, pack some rain gear. Just in case you forget it, we will loan you a rain poncho.
  5. We will provide you with a helmet but you will need to bring some type of eye protection - sun glasses or goggles will work.
  6. You do have a storage space for water bottles, cameras, and extra jackets.

At check-in:

  1. You will fill out paperwork, bring your driver's license.
  2. All renters must listen to a safety talk before departure.
  3. Pick a helmet that fits you.
  4. Go over the Vail Pass Recreation area trail map.
  5. Now you are ready to drive 12 miles to the Vail Pass Recreation area trailhead.
  6. Our wranglers will unload the ATV's for you. They will have them warmed up and ready for you to ride through Colorado's Backcountry.
